Join us at the many events for Bike Month in Peel
Bike Month, from May 29 to June 30, encourages residents to get on their bikes and celebrate the benefits of cycling. Riding your bike helps you stay active and reduces traffic congestion, all while letting you explore your neighbourhood. With 147 schools in Peel already registered for Bike to School Week, held during Bike Month, it’s clear the enthusiasm for cycling is growing.
The Region of Peel and its partners are offering a wide array of activities for cyclists of all ages and abilities, including:
- June 3: Manitou Park Bike Parade. Decorate your bike, participate in the bike parade and enjoy the outdoors with the community.
- June 13: Bike Safety Day: Learn about cycling and road safety from the Peel Police bike unit. Visit 10 Peel Centre Drive
- June 17: Caledon Day. Celebrate Caledon by biking to the festivities and taking advantage of the free bike valet.
- June 24: Bike the Creek 2017. Take in the sights by biking anywhere from 11 to 58 kilometres through Caledon and Brampton.
