This two day FREE family event includes sunrise ceremonies, heritage entertainers, demonstrations and exhibitors, a Native Powwow, Métis Fiddlers, and a vendor marketplace.
Maanjidowin is organized by Heritage Mississauga, in conjunction with the Mississaugas of the New Credit First Nation, the Credit River Métis Council, the City of Mississauga, Region of Peel through the Peel Aboriginal Steering Committee (PASC) and other partners.
Through Maanjidowin, PASC hopes to make new connections, strengthen existing partnerships and create opportunities to share resources.
