high standards in early learning and child care.
Is Lancaster Learn.Play.Care. Centre best for your child?
Children can attend Lancaster Learn.Play.Care. centre from the age of 3 years, 8 months to 10 years. There is no toddler program at Lancaster.
Best Start Integrated Program:
Lancaster Learn.Play.Care. centre offers the first Region of Peel's first Best Start program, which integrates child care, education, public health and parenting supports.
Children aged 3 years, 8 months and up can attend Lancaster Learn.Play.Care centre's kindergarten program. They will spend half the day in the Learn.Play.Care. centre and half the day in Lancaster Public School's junior or senior kindergarten.
School-Age Program:
Lancaster Learn.Play.Care. centre provides the Region of Peel's first School-Age Program (1 page, 1.09MB) in partnership with the Peel District School Board's Lancaster Public School. The School-Age Program (for children 6 years and up) is licensed for 15 children for before- and after-school child care. The centre is located in a safe and fun learning environment. Healthy breakfasts and nutritious snacks are prepared daily for children. Children can enjoy the full-day program on P.D. days and early-release days. Fun full-day camps are offered during March break and the summer holidays.
Early Years Hub:
Lancaster Public School hosts an Early Years hub. By partnering with the Peel District School Board, the Region of Peel is building upon services for families.
