Student Placement and Co-op Opportunities
Interested in Student Practicum/Co-op Placements?
Look no further; the Region of Peel offers many opportunities to fulfill this passion:
- Year-round placements in any of the 12 Learn.Play.Care. Child Care Centres located in Brampton and Mississauga or in our administration offices and community programs.
- Daytime or evening placements available.
- Gain exposure to HighScope philosophy.
- Work with children 18 months to 6 years.
- Match academics to practical knowledge.
- Earn credits while having fun working with children.
- Learn new skills and network with people within a diverse community.
To be part of this exciting group you must:
- Provide a letter requesting placement from either your teacher or school.
- Have had a Criminal Reference Check done within the last 90 days.
- Have an up–to-date immunization record.
- Have had a TB skin test done in the last six months.
