Youth Summer Volunteer Program
Are you between the ages of 14 and 18?
Are you looking for unique opportunities to gain valuable experience and skills?
We are inviting you to participate in an exciting new program created just for you! Our 40-hour volunteer program offers a unique, structured opportunity designed to help high school students gain volunteer experience and enhance their skills.
The volunteer hours will take place over a period of six weeks from July 6, 2009 to Aug.14, 2009, and include a five-hour orientation session. Subsequently, volunteers will complete a minimum of seven hours a week for the remaining five weeks. Students may choose to volunteer one full day or two half days a week.
Volunteer positions include:
Locations: You can volunteer at any of our 12 Learn.Play.Care. Centres
To take part, you must have a completed criminal reference check, an up-to-date immunization record and have had a TB skin test done in the last six months.
Spaces are limited so apply early!
To apply, complete each Step below. Applications are due on March 13, 2009. Interviews begin the week of March 18, 2009.

Once we have received your completed application, you may be invited for an interview. The interview will allow us to get to know you better and provide an opportunity for you to ask questions. |

Results of the status of your application will be forwarded to you by the end of April 2009. |
