8. BY-LAWS

  a) Three Readings

By-law 23-2007: A by-law to adopt the optional tools for calculating the amount of taxes for municipal and school purposes payable in respect of property in the commercial classes, industrial classes and multi-residential property class for 2007.

By-law 24-2007: A by-law to provide for the Regional Corporationís consent to permit an encroachment onto parts of Regional Road 17 (Cawthra Road) in the City of Mississauga.

By-law 31-2007: A by-law to adopt estimates of all sums required during the year 2007 for the purposes of the Regional Corporation and to provide a general levy and special levies on lower-tier municipalities.

By-law 32-2007: A by-law to implement heavy truck right and left turn restrictions at the intersections of Regional Road 9 (King Street) at Nancy Street, Regional Road 9 (King Street) at Jane Street and Regional Road 50 (Highway 50) at Elizabeth Street except local delivery, and to amend By-law Number 57-2005 being a by-law to regulate traffic on roads under the jurisdiction of the Regional Municipality of Peel.

By-law 33-2007: A by-law to amend By-law 57-2005, being a by-law to regulate traffic on roads under the jurisdiction of the Regional Municipality of Peel.

By-law 34-2007: A by-law to reduce the speed limit on Regional Road 1 (Mississauga Road/Old Main Street) to 40 km/h from 500 metres south of Regional Road 11 (Forks of the Credit Road/Bush Street) to Regional Road 11 (Forks of the Credit Road/Bush Street) and to reduce the speed limit on Regional Road 11 (Forks of the Credit Road/Bush Street) to 40 km/h from Scott Street to 150 metres east of Shaws Creek Road and to amend By-law Number 57-2005 being a by-law to regulate traffic on roads under the jurisdiction of the Regional Municipality of Peel.

By-law 35-2007: A by-law to designate eastbound dual left turn lanes at the intersection of Regional Road 4 (Dixie Road) at Matheson Boulevard and to amend By-law Number 57-2005 being a by-law to regulate traffic on roads under the jurisdiction of the Regional Municipality of Peel.

By-law 36-2007: A by-law to accept, assume and dedicate lands for public highway purposes.

By-law 38-2007: A by-law to amend By-law 17-2007 titled the "Waste Management System Fees and Charges By-law, 2007".
