THE REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY OF PEEL
BY-LAW NUMBER 108-91
A by-law to to authorize an Application for Approval to expropriate land being part of the south half of Lot #11 in the First Concession west of Hurontario Street in the City of Mississauga, in the Regional Municipality of Peel (formerly in the the Township of Toronto in the County of Peel), being Part 6 of Plan 43R-18234.
WHEREAS the the Council of the Regional Municipality of Peel on October 10, 1991 adopted Resolution 91-416-1 authorizing the commencement of procedures to expropriate the above described lands and that the necessary by-law be presented to Regional Council;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Regional Corporation enacts as follows:
1. That an Application for Approval to Expropriate Land under section 4 of the Expropriations Act, R.S.O. 1980, chapter 148 be made to the Council of The Regional Municipality of Peel in respect of the lands as described in the form of application attached hereto as Schedule "A" to this by-law and that it be executed on behalf of the Regional Corporation by the Regional Clerk and the corporate seal be affixed thereto.
2. That a Notice of Application for Approval to Expropriate Land in the form attached hereto as Schedule "B" be executed on behalf of the Regional Corporation by the Regional Clerk and the corporate seal be affixed thereto and that it be served upon each registered owner of the lands described therein and published once a week for three consecutive weeks in a newspaper having general circulation in the City of Mississauga, in accordance with section 6 of the Expropriations Act.
