THE REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY OF PEEL

BY-LAW NUMBER 24-91

A by-law to amend By-law Number 51-88 being a by-law to regulate traffic on the roads under the jurisdiction of the Regional Municipality of Peel.

WHEREAS the Council of the Regional Corporation on the 16th June, 1988, passed By-law Number 51-88 to consolidate the by-laws that regulate traffic on roads under the jurisdiction of the Regional Corporation, which by-law is hereinafter referred to as "the by-law";

AND WHEREAS the Regional Municipality of Peel has entered into an agreement with the Regional Municipality of Halton, on 10th November, 1988, under the provisions of section 268 of the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1980, Chapter 302, as amended, for the maintenance and repair of the highway forming part of the boundary between such municipalities;

AND WHEREAS the Council of the Regional Corporation has by resolution passed on the 28th February, 1991, authorized the enactment of a by-law to amend the by-law to designate Regional Road 19 (Winston Churchill Boulevard) between Regional Road 15 (Steeles Avenue) and the boundary between the City of Brampton and the City of Mississauga, as a through highway and to implement a posted speed limit of 60 km/hr;

NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Regional Corporation enacts as follows:

1. That Part 4 of Schedule I of the by-law is amended by repealing the following:
