BY-LAW NUMBER 9-92
A by-law to amend By-law Number 51-88 being a by-law to regulate traffic on roads under the jurisdiction of the Regional Municipality of Peel.
WHEREAS the Council of the Regional Corporation on the 16th June, 1988, passed By-law Number 51-88 to consolidate the by- laws that regulate traffic on roads under the jurisdiction of the Regional Municipality of Peel and which by-law is hereinafter referred to as "the by-law";
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Regional Municipality of Peel has by resolution passed on the 23rd January, 1992, authorized the enactment of a by-law to amend the by-law with respect to reducing the existing 80 km/h speed limit on Regional Road 19 (Winston Churchill Boulevard) from 2,440 metres north of Regional Road 9 (King Street) to Regional Road 11 (Forks of the Credit Road) to 70 km/h, in the Town of Caledon;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Regional Corporation enacts as follows:
1. That Part 11 of Schedule I of the by-law is amended by repealing the following:
