THE REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY OF PEEL

BY-LAW NUMBER 159-94

A by-law to establish certain lands as part of Regional Road 5 and to assume the new Derry Road Meadowvale By-pass from Regional Road 1 to McLaughlin Road as part of the Regional Road System.

WHEREAS Section 31(1) of the Regional Municipalities Act, R.S.O., 1990, Chapter R.8 provides that the Council of the Regional Corporation may pass by-laws for establishing and laying out new roads and adding such new roads to the regional road system;

AND WHEREAS the Council of the Regional Corporation has by resolution on the 27th October, 1994 authorized the assumption of the new Derry Road Meadowvale By-pass as part of Regional Road 5, more commonly referred to as Derry Road, being part of the regional road system, from Regional Road 1, more commonly referred to as Mississauga Road, to McLaughlin Road;

NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Regional Corporation enacts as follows:

1. That lands acquired by the Regional Corporation, more particularly described in Schedule "A" attached hereto, are hereby established and laid out as a highway and added as part of Regional Road 5 of the regional road system.
