THE REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY OF PEEL

BY-LAW NUMBER 9-94

A by-law to provide for the Regional Corporation's consent to permit an encroachment
onto parts of Regional Road 4 (Dixie Road), in the City of Mississauga.


WHEREAS the owner of the lands and premises described as Part of Block C, Registered Plan 750, City of Mississauga, Regional Municipality of Peel (formerly in the Township of Toronto, County of Peel) has requested permission to maintain and use certain structures or improvements upon the public highway;

AND WHEREAS pursuant to, Section 210 (107) of the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter M.45, as amended, the Regional Corporation may permit encroachments onto Regional roads;

AND WHEREAS the Council of the Regional Corporation has by resolution passed on the 10th February, 1994 authorized the enactment of a by-law authorizing the said encroachment;

NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Regional Corporation enacts as follows:

1.The registered owner is hereby authorized to maintain a certain encroachment upon the public highway known as Regional Road 4 (Dixie Road), as described in and in accordance with the terms and conditions contained in the Encroachment Agreement dated the 19th October, 1993 between the Regional Municipality of Peel and the registered owner, with respect to Part of Block C, Registered Plan 750, City of Mississauga, Regional Municipality of Peel (formerly in the Township of Toronto, County of Peel).

2.That Schedule A-1 attached to this by-law is included and shall be considered part of this by-law.

3.That the Encroachment Agreement be executed on behalf of the Regional Corporation by the Regional Solicitor and the Regional Clerk and the corporate seal affixed thereto.
