WHEREAS the Council of the Regional Corporation on the 28th;April,;1994 passed By-law 38-94 to establish a Comprehensive Emergency Measures Plan and Program and which by-law is hereinafter referred to as "the by-law;"

AND WHEREAS Council has by Resolution 96-547 on the 13th June, 1996 authorized a by-law to amend By-law 38-94, as amended;

NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Regional Corporation enacts as follows:

1. That the term "Manager, Corporate Secretariat" wherever it appears in the by-law be deleted and the term "Supervisor, Legislative Services" be substituted therefore;

2. That Section 6.3.11 (i) of the by-law be deleted and the following substituted therefor:

"(i) Direct Transhelp to provide transportation to evacuation centres for persons with special needs and as otherwise requested."
