THE REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY OF PEEL

BY-LAW NUMBER 59-96

A by-law to accept, assume and dedicate lands for public highway purposes.

WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to accept and assume lands described in Schedule "A" attached hereto and forming part of this by-law, received from various owners, and dedicate same for Highway purposes pursuant to Section 23 of the Regional Municipalities Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter R.8;

NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Regional Corporation enacts as follows:

That part of the lands described in Transfers of Land to the Regional Municipality of Peel, listed in Schedule "A" attached hereto and forming part of this by-law, more particularly described in Schedule "B" attached hereto and forming part of this by-law, be and the same are hereby accepted, and the said lands are assumed and dedicated as part of the Public Highway adjacent thereto.

READ THREE TIMES AND FINALLY PASSED IN OPEN COUNCIL this 8th August, 1996.

PREMISING that the Southwesterly limit of the said West Half of the said Lot Four has an astronomic governing bearing North 44 degrees 10 minutes 40 seconds West and relating all bearings hereto thereto;

COMMENCING at a standard iron bar found planted in the said Southwesterly limit of the said half Lot distant 913.15 feet, more or less, measured Northwesterly along the said Southwesterly limit of the said Half Lot from an iron tube found planted marking the most Southerly angle of the said Half Lot;

THENCE North 45 degrees 49 minutes 20 seconds East at right angles to the last said limit 17.00 feet to an iron bar planted;

THENCE North 44 degrees 10 minutes 40 seconds West parallel to the said Southwesterly limit of the said Half Lot 49.67 feet to a standard iron bar planted;

THENCE North 2 degrees 15 minutes 50 seconds West 7.16 feet;

THENCE South 45 degrees 49 minutes 20 seconds West 21.79 feet, more or less, to a standard iron bar found planted in the said Southwesterly limit of the said Half Lot;

THENCE South 44 degrees 10 minutes 40 seconds East along the last said limit 55.00 feet, more or less, to the point of commencement.

SECONDLY:

Containing by admeasurement 1,123 square feet, more or less, and being composed of Part of the West Half of Lot Four, in the Second Concession East of Hurontario Street, in the Geographic Township of Chinguacousy, in the City of Brampton (formerly in the Town of Brampton), the boundaries of which said parcel may more particularly be described as follows, and

COMMENCING at a standard iron bar found planted in the said Southwesterly limit of the said Lot Four distant 432.15 feet measured Northwesterly thereon from an iron tube found planted marking the most Southerly angle of the said Lot Four;

THENCE North 45 degrees 49 minutes 20 seconds East at right angles to the last said limit 17.00 feet;

THENCE North 44 degrees 10 minutes 40 seconds West parallel to the last said limit 66.00 feet to an iron bar planted;

THENCE South 45 degrees 49 minutes 20 seconds West 17.00 feet, more or less, to a standard iron bar found planted in the said Southwesterly limit of the said Half Lot;

THENCE South 44 degrees 10 minutes 40 seconds East along the last said limit 66.00 feet, more or less, to the point of commencement.

All that portion of the West half of Lot Four, Concession Two, East of Hurontario Street, in the Geographic Township of Chinguacousy, in the City of Brampton, Regional Municipality of Peel (formerly Town of Brampton, County of Peel) and Province of Ontario, designated as Parts 44 and 45 on a Reference Plan deposited in the Registry Office for the Registry Division of the County of Peel, as Plan RD-305.
