THE REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY OF PEEL

BY-LAW NUMBER 9-1999

A by-law to replace the existing parking prohibition with a stopping prohibition on Regional Road 3 (Britannia Road) between Tenth Line and Ninth Line and to amend By-law Number 48-94 being a by-law to regulate traffic on roads under the jurisdiction of the Regional Municipality of Peel.

 

WHEREAS the Council of the Regional Corporation on the 12th May 1994 passed By-law 48-94 to consolidate the by-laws that regulate traffic on roads under the jurisdiction of the Regional Municipality of Peel and which by-law is hereinafter referred to as "the by-law";

AND WHEREAS the Council of the Regional Municipality of Peel has by resolution passed on 11th February 1999, authorized the enactment of a by-law to amend the by-law with respect to replacing the existing parking prohibition with a stopping prohibition on Regional Road 3 (Britannia Road) between Tenth Line and Ninth Line;

NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Regional Corporation enacts as follows:

  1. That Part 1 of Schedule I of the by-law is amended by deleting the following:

    2. Regional Prohibited Times or

    Road No. Side Limits Days

    3 Both From Regional Road 1 to Ninth Line Anytime

     

  2. That Part 1 of Schedule I of the by-law is amended by adding the following:

    3. Regional Prohibited Times or

    Road No. Side Limits Days

    3 Both From Regional Road 1 to Tenth Line Anytime

     

     

  3. That Part 3 of Schedule I of the by-law is amended by adding the following:

Regional Prohibited Times or

Road No. Side Limits Days

3 Both From Tenth Line to Ninth Line Anytime
