THE REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY OF PEEL

BY-LAW NUMBER 15-2000

A by-law to repeal the parking prohibition on both sides of Regional Road 16 (Kennedy Road) from Church Street to a point 285 metres north of Linkdale Road, and to implement a stopping prohibition on both sides of Regional Road 16 (Kennedy Road) from Church Street to Highway 7 and to amend By-law 48-94 being a by-law to regulate traffic on roads under the jurisdiction of the Regional Municipality of Peel.

 

WHEREAS the Council of the Regional Corporation on the 12th May, 1994 passed By-law 48-94 to consolidate the by-laws that regulate traffic on roads under the jurisdiction of the Regional Municipality of Peel and which by-law is hereinafter referred to as "the by-law";

AND WHEREAS the Council of the Regional Municipality of Peel has by resolution passed on the 27th January, 2000, authorised the enactment of a by-law to amend the by-law with respect to removing the existing parking prohibition on both sides of Regional Road 16 (Kennedy Road) from Church Street to a point 285 metres north of Linkdale Road and to implement a stopping prohibition on both sides of Regional Road 16 (Kennedy Road) from Church Street to Highway 7, in the City of Brampton;

NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Regional Corporation enacts as follows:

  1. That Part 1 of Schedule I of the by-law is amended by deleting the following:
