THE REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY OF PEEL

BY-LAW NUMBER 27-2000

A by-law to implement a heavy truck restriction on Regional Road 6 (Embleton Road) between Regional Road 1 (Mississauga Road) and Regional Road 19 (Winston Churchill Boulevard), and to amend By-law Number 48-94 being a by-law to regulate traffic on roads under the jurisdiction of the Regional Municipality of Peel.

 

WHEREAS the Council of the Regional Corporation on the 12th May, 1994 passed By-law 48-94 to consolidate the by-laws that regulate traffic on roads under the jurisdiction of the Regional Municipality of Peel and which by-law is hereinafter referred to as "the by-law";

AND WHEREAS the Council of the Regional Municipality of Peel has by resolution passed on the 17th February, 2000, authorized the enactment of a by-law to amend the by-law with respect to implementing a heavy truck restriction on Regional Road 6 (Embleton Road) between Regional Road 1 (Mississauga Road) and Regional Road 19 (Winston Churchill Boulevard) in the City of Brampton;

NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Regional Corporation enacts as follows:

  1. That Part 7 of Schedule I of the by-law be amended by adding the following:
