THE REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY OF PEEL

BY-LAW NUMBER 48-2000

A by-law to amend by-law number 179-83 being a by-law to set out all the roads in the Regional Road System.

 

WHEREAS the Council of the Regional Municipality of Peel, enacted By-law Number 179-83, a by-law to set out all the roads in the Regional Road System;

AND WHEREAS Council by resolution on June 22nd, 2000 authorized the enactment of a by-law to amend By-law Number 179-83, to remove part of Derry Road (Regional Road No. 5) from the Regional Road System;

NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Regional Corporation enacts as follows:

  1. That Schedule "A" to By-law Number 179-83, being the most recent by-law setting out all the roads in the Regional Road System in the Regional Municipality of Peel is hereby amended by deleting therefrom a portion of the road designated and described as follows:

    NUMBER DESCRIPTION

    5 BEING that portion of road described as Part of Lots 10 and 11 and Part of the Road Allowance between Lots 10 and 11, Concession 4, West of Hurontario Street, City of Mississauga, Regional Municipality of Peel (formerly Township of Toronto), designated as Part 60 on plan of reference 43R-24309 being a part of the road known as Derry Road West (Regional Road 5).

  2. That the portions of the road designated and described in paragraph 1, are hereby removed from the Regional Road System of the Regional Municipality of Peel.

3. That this by-law shall come into force upon the approval of the Council of the Regional Municipality of Peel.
