THE REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY OF PEEL

BY-LAW NUMBER 58-2000

WHEREAS the Council of the Regional Corporation on the 12th May, 1994 passed By-law 48-94 to consolidate the by-laws that regulate traffic on roads under the jurisdiction of the Regional Municipality of Peel and which by-law is hereinafter referred to as "the by-law";

AND WHEREAS the Council of the Regional Municipality of Peel has by resolution passed on the 1^st June, 2000, authorized the enactment of a by-law to amend the by-law with respect to reducing the speed limit on Regional Road 136 (Main Street) from 50 km/hr to 40 km/hr from 630 metres south of Queen Street West to 265 metres south of Queen Street West from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on school days and to extend the existing 50 km/hr speed limit on Regional Road 136 (Main Street) from 550 metres north of Beech Grove Sideroad to 425 metres north of Beech Grove Sideroad;

NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Regional Corporation enacts as follows:

1. That Part 15 of Schedule I is amended by adding the following:

2. That Part 11 of Schedule I is amended by repealing the following:

3. That Part 11 of Schedule I amended by adding the following:

4. That By-law 42-2000 be repealed.
