THE REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY OF PEEL
 
BY-LAW NUMBER 51-2003
 
A by-law to amend the current times of operation for flashing 40 km/h speed zones and to amend By-law Number 41-2001 being a by-law to regulate traffic on roads under the jurisdiction of the Regional Municipality of Peel.


WHEREAS the Council of the Regional Corporation on the 13th September, 2001 passed By-law 41-2001 to consolidate the by-laws that regulate traffic on roads under the jurisdiction of the Regional Municipality of Peel and which by-law is hereinafter referred to as "the by-law";

AND WHEREAS the Council of the Regional Municipality of Peel has by resolution passed on the 14th day of August, 2003, authorized the enactment of a by-law to amend the by-law with respect to revising the times of operation for flashing 40 km/h speed zones to complement the current revision to the Highway Traffic Act by the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario;

NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Regional Corporation enacts as follows:

1. That Part 9 of Schedule I of the by-law is amended by deleting the following:
