WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to amend By-law Number 88-74 with respect to the amalgamation of employees with the Regional Municipality of Peel in the Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System (OMERS).

NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Regional Municipality of Peel enacts as follows:

1. By-law 88-74 is hereby amended by adding as paragraphs 3A and 3B:

3A. The Regional Municipality of Peel hereby agrees to accept the employees of The District of Halton-Mississauga Ambulance Service Limited into their OMERS Group and elects to participate as a single employer under the OMERS Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter 0.29 and Regulation 890 as amended thereunder.

3B. The Regional Municipality of Peel hereby agrees to accept the divested employees of Headwaters Health Care Centre into their OMERS Group and elects to participate as a single employer under the OMERS Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter 0.29 and Regulation 890 as amended thereunder.
