BY-LAW NUMBER 64- 2005 |
A by-law to provide for the Regional Corporation's
consent to permit an encroachment onto parts of Regional Road 1 (Erin
Mills Parkway) in the City of Mississauga.

WHEREAS The Credit Valley Hospital, the owner of the lands and premises described
as Parcel 14-4, Section 43-1003, being Part of Lots 14 and 15 on Registrar's
Compiled Plan 1003, Part of the Road Allowance between Concession 2 North of
Dundas Street and Range 5 North of Dundas Street, Closed by By-law 446-74, City
of Mississauga, Regional Municipality of Peel, designated as Part 1 on Reference
Plan 43R-10237, save and except Parts 2, 3, 5, 6 and 9 on Reference Plan 43R-19032,
has requested permission to maintain and use certain structures or improvements
upon the public highway (the "encroachment");
AND WHEREAS pursuant to Section 11(2) of the Municipal Act, S.O. 2001, c.25, the Regional Corporation may pass a by-law respecting encroachments on Regional roads;
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Regional Corporation has by resolution passed on the 7th day of July, 2005 authorized the enactment of a by-law authorizing the encroachment;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Regional Corporation enacts as follows:
