WHEREAS, Section 286 of the Municipal Act, 2001 states that the Regional Council shall appoint a Treasurer;

AND WHEREAS, the Council of the Regional Corporation has by resolution adopted on 9th July, 2009 authorized the approval of David Bingham as Treasurer;

NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Regional Corporation hereby enacts as follows:

1. That the officer appointed Director of Corporate Finance and Regional Treasurer shall have those duties set out in the Municipal Act, 2001 and shall be the Treasurer of the Regional Corporation.
   
   
2. That David Bingham shall be and is hereby appointed Director of Corporate Finance and Regional Treasurer of The Regional Municipality of Peel effective July 10, 2009.
   
   
3. That By-laws 55-2002 and 66-2007 of the Regional Corporation are hereby repealed.
