WHEREAS the Council of the Regional Corporation on the 16th day of June, 2005 passed By-law 57-2005 to consolidate the by-laws that regulate traffic on roads under the jurisdiction of The Regional Municipality of Peel and which by-law is hereinafter referred to as “the Traffic By-law”;

AND WHEREAS the Council for the Regional Corporation on the 17th day of November, 2005 passed By-law 91-2005 to amend Part 19 of Schedule 1 of the Traffic By-law to increase the speed limit on Regional Road 5 (Derry Road) from 60 km/h to 70 km/h from Regional Road 1 (Mississauga Road) to Millcreek Drive;

AND WHEREAS the Council of The Regional Municipality of Peel has by resolution passed on the 23rd day of April, 2009, authorized the enactment of a by-law to amend the Traffic By-law to reduce the speed limit on Derry Road West from 80 km/h to 70 km/h from McLaughlin Road to Regional Road 1 (Mississauga Road);

NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Regional Corporation enacts as follows:

1. That Part 20 of Schedule I of the Traffic By-law is amended by repealing the following:
