WHEREAS the Council of The Regional Municipality of Peel (“Regional Corporation”), on February 15, 2007 enacted By-law 17-2007 to establish the waste management system fees and charges in accordance with Schedule A attached thereto;

AND WHEREAS the Council of the Regional Corporation on January 24, 2008 enacted By-law 3-2008 to amend By-law 17-2007;

AND WHEREAS the Council of the Regional Corporation has by resolution adopted on January 14, 2009, authorized the enactment of the by-law herein to further amend By-law 17-2007;

NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Regional Corporation enacts as follows:

1. Schedule A attached to By-law 17-2007 is deleted and replaced with the Schedule A attached hereto.
   
   
2. By-law 3-2008 is hereby repealed.
   
   
3. Despite the repeal of By-law 3-2008 and the amendment of By-law 17-2007 herein, the waste management system fees and charges set out in Schedule A to By-law 17-2007, as amended, on the day immediately prior to the day this by-law comes into effect, shall continue to apply to waste management system fees and charges which became payable prior to the date upon which this by-law comes into effect.
   
   
4. By-law 17-2007 is further amended by deleting paragraph 5 and replacing it with the following paragraph:

   5. This By-law may be referred to as the “Waste Management System Fees and Charges By-law”.

5. This by-law takes effect on the day it is passed.
