WHEREAS in accordance with the provisions of Section 17 and Section 26 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P.13, as amended, Council may adopt an Official Plan or amendments thereto;

AND WHEREAS, the Council of the Regional Corporation has by resolution passed on the 22nd day of April, 2010 authorized the adoption of Regional Official Plan Amendment Number 24, which is an amendment to update policies related to growth management, employment areas and Greenbelt conformity in the Regional Official Plan;

NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Regional Corporation enacts as follows:

That Schedule A, attached hereto and forming part of this by-law constitutes and is hereby adopted as Regional Official Plan Amendment Number 24.
