A by-law to adopt Amendment Number 26 to the Region of Peel Official Plan in order to amend policies, schedules and figures related to incentives for intensification, petroleum resources, human-made hazards, natural hazards and transportation. |
WHEREAS in accordance with the provisions of Section 17 and Section 26 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13, as amended, Council may adopt an Official Plan or amendments thereto;
AND WHEREAS, the Council of the Regional Corporation has by resolution passed on the 28th day of June, 2012, authorized the adoption of Regional Official Plan Amendment Number 26, which is an amendment to revise policies related to incentives for intensification, petroleum resources, human-made hazards, natural hazards and to revise figures and schedules related to transportation in the Regional Official Plan;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Regional Corporation enacts as follows:
That Schedule A, attached hereto and forming part of this By-law constitutes and is hereby adopted as Regional Official Plan Amendment Number 26.
