A by-law to amend By-law 14-2014 being a by-law to approve the expropriation of land being Part of Lot 1 and Part of Block E, Registered Plan 1002, City of Brampton, Regional Municipality of Peel, being more particularly identified as Part 3 on Reference Plan 43R-35540 and Part of Lot 1, Registered Plan 1002, City of Brampton, Regional Municipality of Peel, being more particularly identified as Parts 4, 5, 6 and 7 on Reference Plan 43R-35540 and the taking of all steps necessary to obtain the possession of those lands. |
WHEREAS the Council of the Regional Corporation enacted By-law Number 14-2014 on January 23, 2014 authorizing and directing that steps be taken with respect to the expropriation of lands;
AND WHEREAS, the Council of the Regional Corporation has by resolution passed on the 27th day of March, 2014 authorized the enactment of a by-law to amend By-law 14-2014 with respect to the approval of the expropriation of the above-described lands;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Regional Corporation enacts as follows:

CERTIFICATE OF APPROVAL
Expropriations Act
IN THE MATTER OF an application by
The Regional Municipality of Peel
for approval to expropriate land being:
Part of Lot 1 and Part of Block E, Registered Plan 1002, City of Brampton, Regional Municipality of Peel, being more particularly identified as Part 3 on Reference Plan 43R-35540 and Part of Lot 1, Registered Plan 1002, City of Brampton, Regional Municipality of Peel, being more particularly identified as Parts 4, 5, 6 and 7 on Reference Plan 43R-35540.
Located on the east side of The Gore Road, north of Countryside Drive, in the City of Brampton, Ontario.
For the purpose of widening The Gore Road from north of Castlemore Road to 540 metres north of Beamish Court in the City of Brampton and for works ancillary thereto.
The Council of The Regional Municipality of Peel hereby certifies that approval was given to The Regional Municipality of Peel on the 27th day of March, 2014 to expropriate the following lands:
Fee Simple
The fee simple interest in the lands described as Part of Lot 1 and Part of Block E, Registered Plan 1002, City of Brampton, Regional Municipality of Peel, being more particularly identified as Part 3 on Reference Plan 43R-35540, and as Part of Lot 1, Registered Plan 1002, City of Brampton, Regional Municipality of Peel, being more particularly identified as Parts 4, 5 and 6 on Reference Plan 43R-35540.
Temporary Easement
A temporary working easement or rights in the nature of a temporary working easement for a term of three years commencing on registration of the plan of expropriation on, over, under and through the lands described as Part of Lot 1, Registered Plan 1002, City of Brampton, Regional Municipality of Peel, being more particularly identified as Part 7 on Reference Plan 43R-35540 for the purpose of entering upon and occupying the land with all necessary vehicles, machinery, equipment and material required to facilitate the reconstruction and widening of The Gore Road, grading and other works ancillary thereto.
being the lands described in the application.
