Reports - The Region of Peel's State of the Environment
program has produced reports on Water, Land and Atmosphere
in Peel. State of the Environment reports are a key
tool for monitoring the health of Peel's environments.
- Environmental Health
- Investigating community concerns relating to Environmental
Health. Public Health Inspectors are responsible for:
Food inspection, investigating communicable disease,
animal bites, inspecting swimming pools, monitoring
private wells, and
investigating community concerns relating to Environmental
Health hazards.
- Environmental
Assessment - A study that identifies potential
positive and negative effects of projects such as
road improvements, facility expansions or to facilitate
a new service. Current Environmental Assessments are
listed.
- Environmental Conservation - The Region of Peel promotes several conservation programs such as Water Smart Peel, Energy Management, Smart Commute, Clean Air Peel, and Waste Management.
