A Message from the Chair and Chief Administrative Officer
On behalf of Regional Council, the Executive Management Team and Regional employees, we encourage you to read our 2008 Financial Report. When you read it, you will see that it is more than just a book of numbers. You will see that we are an organization that is committed to providing quality service while acting in the best interest of our Peel taxpayer.
Our report reflects the financial impacts of the work our employees do each day in making Regional services accessible to the citizens in each of our three area municipalities: City of Brampton, Town of Caledon, and City of Mississauga.
It is a report about how the direction of Regional Council is implemented and how the services we provide make Peel a great place to live and work.
Peel is a recognized municipal leader for its commitment to fiscal management; quality service; continuous service improvement; and organizational excellence, and Regional Council is planning into the next decade to ensure the Peel community continues to receive the value and quality in service delivery it has come to expect.
