- For the first nine months of 2011, a total of 133 business bankruptcies were recorded in the Region of Peel.
- This was just below the 134 business bankruptcies registered in the similar nine month period of 2010, to continue the down trend which started in 2009.
- The decline in January – September 2011 was the result of lower business bankruptcies in Brampton and Mississauga which outweighed the increase registered in Caledon.
