Safety Considerations
- Make sure the floor is free of any obstructions.
- Move the desks to the side of the room to create the circle.
- Students may need to spread out depending on what action they want to do or you may want to have each student go in the centre of the circle when it is their turn to say their name/activity/perform the activity.
|
Instructions
- In a large circle, one student begins by saying their name, a physical activity that they like to do and the action for that activity. For example, Rhonda might say she likes softball and then pretends to swing a bat.
- The next student in the circle does the same and then repeats the name and activity of the person before them.
- This process continues around the circle and students try to remember all the names and actions of the others.
|
Accommodations/Modifications
- Increase the difficulty of the game by having students also perform the actions of the previous students before them.
