Safety Considerations
- Make sure the gym floor is free of any obstructions.

Instructions
- Have the students sit in a circle and pop up to stand and do the required action when they can answer “Yes” to the statement posed.
- Each time a statement is made, change the action. For example, “Pop up and wave if you have lived in more than two houses.” Other actions could include: Clap, snap fingers, take a bow, pound your chest, run in place, raise two arms, etc.
- Statement examples:
“Pop up and clap (wave, snap fingers, etc) if you…”
- …like popcorn.
- …get dressed on your own.
- …have brushed your teeth today.
- …have a sister.
- …like to swim.

Accommodations/Modifications
- Allow disabled students to remain sitting or standing and do the actions.
- Go around the circle and have students come up with their own statements.
