Getting Involved
You can make a difference in your child's education and support your school community in a variety of ways, such as:
- Helping with homework and school projects
- Communicating with teachers about your child's progress
- Attending and supporting school events
- Volunteering at your child's school or on school trips
- Joining the school council
Visit your local school board's website frequently for information on Board happenings. Both the Peel District School Board and the Dufferin Peel Catholic District School Board offer tips and information on how you can participate in and promote your child's learning.
