- Cancer
Canadian Cancer Society
Provides a variety of information about healthy eating to prevent cancer as well as nutrition information for people living with cancer. Available in English and French.
- Cardiovascular Disease (Heart Disease & Stroke)
Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada
Provides information, tools and recipes for healthy eating and healthy weights. Available in English and French.
- Diabetes
Canadian Diabetes Association
Healthy eating and a healthy weight are important to help manage diabetes. This website will help you to develop a basic understanding of concepts such as carbohydrate counting, reading food labels, and artificial sweeteners. Available in English and French.
- Eating Gluten Free
Canadian Celiac Association
This information is to help you get started on a gluten-free diet. It is still necessary that you meet with a registered dietitian who specializes in celiac disease.
- Osteoporosis
Osteoporosis Canada
Using the links on the right-hand side of the page, you will find nutrition information on calcium and vitamin D, calcium recipes as well as a simple online calcium calculator. Available in English and French.
