You're going through many changes - both physically and emotionally - as you adjust to your new role. You'll want to focus on your baby, but it's also important to:

  • Be patient and allow yourself time to recover from labour and birth.
  • Adjust to your new role as a parent.
  • Give yourself time to learn how to care for your baby.
