Breastfeeding

Breastfeeding protects, and adds to an infant's best health and well-being.

For the first six months of life, breast milk is the only food that your baby needs to grow and be healthy. Continue to breastfeed until your baby is two years old or more. The longer you breastfeed, the more benefits you and your baby get.

Visit Peel Public Health's site www.BreastfeedingInPeel.ca to get breastfeeding off to a great start and find helpful tips for breastfeeding along the way.
