The Region of Peel, located directly west of Toronto and York Region, includes the City of Mississauga, the City of Brampton and the Town of Caledon. Compared to Ontario, Peel has a higher proportion of children and young families, is slightly better educated and has a higher proportion of immigrants, visible minorities, and those who speak neither official language.
