Peel Public Health Is Offering Free HPV Immunization Catch-Up Clinics
Human Papillomavirus (HPV) is a virus that infects the skin and genital area; and is associated with genital warts and cervical cancer.
The HPV vaccine is safe and provides protection against four types of HPV. Types 16 and 18 are associated with cervical cancer while Types 6 and 11 are associated with genital warts.
The vaccine is given in a three-dose series. All three doses are needed to provide protection against HPV.

Enter the building through the west doors, located at the rear of the building. FREE parking is available. The clinic is located in the cafeteria on the main level.
Residents, who are not eligible to attend Peel Public Health’s Catch-up Clinic but would like to be immunized for HPV, should contact their family doctor about the HPV vaccine. The approximate cost is $150.00 per dose (three doses required). Some health insurance plans will cover the cost of vaccine.
