Great Gator Games: Canadian Intramural Recreation Association of Ontario. (1998): This resource contains 40 games that will complement any program including intramural, Phys. Ed. classes and playground. Gator skin balls are adaptable, affordable, lightweight and available in a variety of sizes. The balls enable children to learn motor skills without fear of the ball. Specific activities include icebreakers, team tag, and mass and dodge ball games. |

Health Canada ’s “Gotta Move” Magazine for Children (6-9 yrs) and “Let’s Get Active” Magazine for Youth (10-14 yrs): These magazines include a number of fun ideas for children and youth to participate in physical activity. They also include quizzes and activities for them to complete. |

Mass Appeal – Activities for Groups of 50 or More: Canadian Intramural Recreation Association of Ontario . (1997): This resource has over 60 activities for groups of 50 to as many as 1,000! Activities are divided into five categories: Fun & Fitness, Mix & Mingle, Just a Little Zany, Games Galore and Just for the Fun of It. Activities require little equipment and promote cooperation and friendly competition and can be incorporated into play days, orientations and fit weeks. |
