Nurturing Matters:
Investing in Population Health Approaches to
Support Parenting and Infant Development
Wednesday, Feb. 22 & Thursday, Feb. 23, 2012
Pearson Convention Centre, Brampton, Ontario
Join the Nurturing the Next Generation Research Team, leaders in public health, research, early child development and maternal and infant care in shaping the future of parenting and early child development programming.
Using participatory methods and a professional facilitator, Nurturing Matters will share findings from a Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) - funded knowledge synthesis exploring evidence-informed population-based health approaches to improving childhood development outcomes.
An important outcome of this conference will be the development of recommendations for future directions in parent, infant and child health programming and strategies for working together for better child health.
