Some families may need help coping with or adjusting to their child’s behaviour. The agencies listed below offer services that include behavioural assessments, management, life skills development, and family support and education:
Peel Behavioural Services
Provides behavioural assessments and programs, educational sessions, and a resource library for children and their families. For intake call 905-712-4124.
Peel Infant Development
Offers services to children with developmental concerns and their families -- screening and assessment, intervention, and support groups.
Kerry’s Place
Provides consultation and teaching that focuses on behavioural supports, communication strategies, life and social skills, long term planning and school advocacy.

Serves individuals with a dual diagnosis who have extraordinary needs that cannot be met at the local level by providing respite and assessment. They also look at developing the capacity of the community to better support individuals with a dual diagnosis in the future.
Geneva Centre - Behaviour Communication Analysis and Intervention
This program helps to identify and prioritize goals for children regarding behaviour management, communication and life skills development. Services are delivered through parent education, consultation and coaching and include a variety of structured social skill-building groups for children and adolescents.
Erinoak – Family Support Services
Provides information, encouragement, programming and individual and family support in response to the life situations that young people and their families may find particularly challenging.
TRE-ADD (Treatment, Research & Education for Autism and Developmental Disorders)
Provides behavioural counselling and professional consultation.

Peel’s Children Centre
This children's mental health centre offers prevention and early intervention, counselling, community based outreach services, day treatment, residential treatment, respite and crisis response services.

Provides signs of mental health problems in children, how to get help, and information about common mental health disorders.

Promotes the mental health of all individuals and communities in Ontario through knowledge enhancement, policy development, advocacy, and the advancement of best practices in service delivery.

Families First offers physical and mental health services to single parents who get Ontario Works assistance.
