Region of Peel is available to answer your call between 8-5pm Monday to Friday. A Public Health Nurse will answer any questions you may have or provide you with needed resources.
Tools for Coping with Life’s Stressors
Provides online manuals for coping with stress; it includes tools for parents who have a child with a disability.
Community Care Access Centre
Personal support workers will assist the caregiver and family of a person with needs in personal care, daily living situations like walking, getting out of bed, eating, dressing, bathing and other matters of personal hygiene.
Mental Well-being
If you have a mental health issue, these resources can provide you with educational information and resources in your community.
Centre for Addiction and Mental Health
Provides mental health information for adults, which includes coping with stress and being alone in Canada (for new immigrants.) It also provides multi-language information for people who use English as a second language.
Canadian Mental Health Association-Ontario
Provides information about mental health issues affecting children and adults.
