Looking After Yourself

Finding Information in your language

If English isn’t your first language, you can still find lots of information about developmental disabilities on the Internet. Here’s how to find information on the Internet in languages other than English.

  • Pick a Search engine, like Google: www.google.ca
  • Click on “Language Tools”
  • Go to the “Search Specific Languages or Countries” box
  • Go to “Search for pages written in” and choose a language (e.g. Arabic, Chinese)
  • Go to “Search for” and enter the your search keywords (e.g. developmental disability, autism)
  • Click on the Google Search button

You should now get a list of articles in the language you chose.

Peel Case Management does not endorse any of the information listed on other websites and we recommend that you review these sites carefully.
