Kevin Berthiaume heard the whisper. And like Kevin Costner’s character in Field of Dreams, he decided to do something about it.

In this story, you’ll learn how Berthiaume, a Child and Youth Worker at Robert F. Hall in Caledon East, tapped into the supports at Peel Public Health to change health attitudes in his school. His dedication and commitment grew a tiny, one-day health fair focused on tobacco prevention into a student-run wellness committee and week-long wellness event, directed by the students themselves.
