St. Dominic Catholic Elementary School

Blue bracelets are a hot commodity at St. Dominic’s in Mississauga. But they’re not about fashion. They’re all about a safe and supportive school community.

In this story, you’ll learn about a group that includes students, the Child and Youth Worker, teachers and administrators from the school who are supported by a Public Health Nurse from Peel Public Health. Together, they’ve worked to introduce healthy living and wellness programs that have helped the school earn a top rank in Frasier Institute testing (2008).
