PeelThinkShare held the first in a series of workshops for community partners called Data and Evidence to Action. The workshop focused on practical sources of evidence that organizations can apply to their programming and service delivery, including Peel-specific data and evidence-based interventions.
Over 40 participants representing different community-based organizations attended the inaugural workshop held at 7120 Hurontario Street on April 26, 2013.
The presenters included Nancy Ramuscak from the Peel Public Health Epidemiology Team, and Lindsay Olmstead and Alison Stirling from the Public Health Agency of Canada.
