Peel
Heritage Complex Note Cards - A Glimpse Into Peel's
Past
The Peel Heritage Complex has produced gift/note cards
with 10 different photographic images from the Region
of Peel Archives.
The photographs used for the cards date from the l880
-1923, and include a selection of professional studio
shots as well as photographs taken by early amateur
photographers.
The cards provide a snapshot of what life in Peel was
like a century ago, and also showcase a few of the thousands
of photos housed in the Archives' collections.

"We have close to 25,000 images in the collection
of the Archives, and we thought it would be a good idea
to show people the wide variety of photographs available,"
says David Somers, Curator of the Peel Heritage Complex.
"The pictures are also fun, and the cards can be
used for many different occasions."

A set of ten cards regularly costs $12, but members
of the Peel Heritage Complex can purchase a set for
$10 (+ GST/PST). Purchases can be made in person at
the Heritage Complex or by calling 905-791-4055, ext.
3633 and paying by Visa and MasterCard.
