Peel County Courthouse and Council Chambers at 3 Wellington Street
East to be revamped by the Peel Heritage Complex
As of November 1, the Peel Heritage Complex will be taking over the responsibility
for the administration of the Peel County Courthouse and Council Chambers at
3 Wellington Street East in Brampton .
The Court House and Council Chambers will also undergo a face-lift to revitalize
the space including some fresh paint and minor renovations. This work will restrict
access to these rooms beginning on Monday, Dec. 12, continuing until the end
of January 2006.
Anyone interested in booking the space at the Peel County Courthouse or the
Council Chambers at 3 Wellington for meetings and Regional or private events
should contact Property Management at the Peel Heritage Complex by E-mail or call (905) 791-7800 extension 3600.
Please note that parking is restricted at the Heritage Complex site and anyone
attending a meeting at the Courthouse must park at Brampton City Hall .
Aside
from Regional meetings and events, both of these venues can also be rented
for private events and in past have been used for film shoots and weddings.
