Arts, heritage and culture are unifying elements to a community. Dedicated to collecting, preserving and exhibiting arts and heritage, the Peel Heritage Complex offers visitors opportunities to make personal connections with Peel’s culture.

  • More than 4,000 pieces of art, worth over $10 million.
  • Representation of significant Canadian artists such as Tom Thomson, Jean-Paul Riopelle, Jack Bush, Doris McCarthy as well as regionally and locally significant artists.
  • More than 11,000 museum artefacts documenting the development of Peel, from 4000 BCE to current day.
  • More than 2,000 cubic feet of archival records, including photographs, government records, private papers and maps from 1790 to current day illustrating growth and change in Peel.
