Thanks to three grants from the Museum Assistance Program, we have been able to digitize parts of our Permanent Collection to make it easier for the public to access works and artifacts from the, Archives, Museum and Art Gallery.

The Archives’ mandate is to collect, preserve, and make available materials which deal with the development of the Region. The Archives offer valuable insights about the evolution of our communities into the bustling and developing municipality that is the Region of Peel today.
This section provides a glimpse of the Russell K. Cooper Collection, 19th and 20th Century Print Collection, Brampton Portrait Studio Collection and the video: A Town and Its River.
The Region of Peel Museum is considered one of the finest mid-size museums in the province. The museum exhibitions explore Peel’s history from a First Nations’ longhouse to a supersonic jet and highlight the personal stories and artifacts that make up this rich history.
This section will take you through Toys, Footwear, Victoriana, Tools and Sports.
Dedicated to preserving and promoting the Region’s artistic heritage, the Art Gallery of Peel is also known for it quality educational programs, acclaimed publications, and long–running Juried Art Show. The Gallery’s exhibitions and permanent collection bring an impressive range of regional, provincial, national, and international art making practices to the Peel community.
